The four things to check

01

23 mm

The deepest relief in the range: the shadow is crisp even without grazing light.

02

Multi-tone

Two to three shades per board: the pattern does not visually repeat from board to board.

03

Accent wall

One face per room. Across four walls the pattern becomes overwhelming.

04

PVC

Light, cuts with a fine-tooth saw, installs without machinery or a specialist crew.

Where a classic slat repeats a regular pattern, Grid Board plays on irregularity. Its 2800 × 165 × 23 mm boards combine grooves of different widths and, above all, two or three shades on the same piece. The result is a wall you do not read in a single glance.

Five combinations

KM-35 is three-tone in natural wood: the richest, the one that works as a single accent wall in a restrained room. KM-15 pairs limed wood with taupe grey, for a Scandinavian feel. KM-16 marries walnut and sand, KM-2 reverses the proportion with sand dominant over walnut. KX-3 stays in a two-tone light oak, the most discreet of the series.

23 mm: the relief that counts

This is the deepest profile in our interior range. At that depth the cast shadow is crisp even in diffuse light, which makes Grid Board less dependent on grazing light than Slat Board. In exchange it encroaches more on the room: keep it for walls where you can afford to lose 2.5 cm.

Where to use it

On a single accent wall — never on all four walls of a room, the pattern is too present. As a commercial reception backdrop, behind a welcome desk or a backlit logo, it holds the role perfectly. As stairwell cladding, over the full height, it gives strong verticality.

Frequently asked questions

What we get asked most often

How does it differ from Slat Board?
Relief and colour. Slat Board is 10 mm with a regular pattern in a single shade; Grid Board is 23 mm with variable groove widths and two to three shades per board. The first is a background, the second is a pattern.
Does Grid Board suit a small room?
On a single wall, yes, and it can even give it character. Avoid running it across several faces in a room under 12 m²: the 23 mm relief and the tonal contrast visually close the space in.
Can it go in a bathroom?
Yes, outside the direct spray zone of a shower or bath. PVC is unaffected by ambient humidity, but the deep channels hold water if it runs directly down them and make drying harder.
