The SPC wall panel is the product that surprises showroom visitors most. Up close, the veining of a Calacatta Gold or a black marble with copper veins is uncanny; from a distance, the continuous jointless surface does what no tiling does: it gives the scale of a solid stone slab.

What SPC is

Stone Plastic Composite: a core loaded with limestone powder, a high-definition decor film and a clear wear layer. The result is rigid, dense, waterproof and stable — it does not distort with damp, unlike a hollow PVC panel or veneered MDF.

Fourteen finishes, three families

Marbles dominate the range: Calacatta Gold (PT073), white with grey clouding and black veins (SS014), black with orange and red veins (SS009), black with copper veins (SS002), white with gold grooves (ST-09). The matt plains — ice white, off-white, taupe grey, silver grey — act as a neutral background and pair well with slats. The wood effects (WD-14, WDG-16 with gold grooves) bring warmth without relief.

Bonded installation

On a flat, clean, dry wall, panels are bonded with MS polymer adhesive in dabs and beads, one panel at a time. Joints between panels are handled with an aluminium profile or matched silicone, depending on the look you want. Allow one day with two people for a 15 m² wall.

The point to watch is substrate flatness: beyond 5 mm of deviation under a 2 m straightedge, the rigid panel will not follow and the defect will show under raking light. In that case, go through a batten frame set to plumb.

What we get asked most often

Can an SPC panel go in a shower?
Yes, the material is waterproof and it is a common use. Treat junctions and corners carefully with sanitary silicone, and fit a finishing profile at the base to stop any water getting behind the panel.
How do you cut an SPC panel?
With a circular saw and a fine-tooth blade for composite materials, or a plunge saw on a rail for long cuts, decor side down. Repeated scoring with a knife then a clean snap also works for simple straight cuts.
Is an SPC panel cheaper than real marble?
Substantially, and not only at purchase. There is no stonemason cutting, no handling of heavy slabs, no substrate reinforcement and no periodic sealing. Two people install it without lifting equipment.
Do the veins line up from one panel to the next?
The pattern repeats over a long run, which limits visible repetition on a single wall. For a perfectly continuous book-matched joint, tell us when ordering: we select panels from the same production batch.
