In Morocco, exterior timber ages fast. Between the inland sun, the salt air of the Atlantic coast and the temperature swings of winter nights, an exotic hardwood terrace greys within two summers, splits, and needs re-oiling every year. Plenty of owners end up covering it with a tile they never wanted.

DECNO grew out of that. Rather than sell timber and hope it holds, we went looking for the material that gives the same drawing without the same fragility — and built a range around it: high-density WPC composite outdoors, SPC and decorative PVC indoors.

What we actually do

We import directly and hold stock in Casablanca. That means two concrete things for you: there are no three middlemen between the factory and your site, and what you see in the showroom is available — not “orderable within eight weeks”.

We do not install. That is a deliberate choice: our trade is the product, the technical advice and the supply. What we do provide is the setting-out drawings, the installation notes and the exact quantities for your fitter, and we point you towards installers whose work we know.

Where we refuse to compromise

Composite is a market where you can find anything, hollow boards that sag between the joists and pigments that give up after one summer included. We select on three non-negotiable criteria: real density, measured as weight per linear metre; UV protection right through the material rather than on the surface; and dimensional stability under wide temperature swings.

It is less eye-catching than a marketing claim, but it is what makes a terrace still look new after eight summers.
