How does KM-35 differ from the other Grid Boards?
KM-35 is the only tricolour Grid Board in the DECNO range — it combines three wood tones where the others are two-tone. That extra richness is what makes it read as natural rather than manufactured, so it is the one to choose when the wall has to look like real solid timber.
How are Grid Board KM-35 boards fitted?
Grid Board is fitted vertically on a clean, flat wall, board against board so the grid reads as one continuous run. It is bonded with PVC adhesive or fixed on a rail system. The 23 mm thickness needs a flat, sound substrate. Boards cut with a fine-tooth saw.
Does Grid Board KM-35 really look like wood?
Yes — it is among the most realistic boards in the DECNO range. The three tones, the natural grain printed on every slat, the shift between pale wood and walnut and the deep chocolate grooves come very close to real solid-wood cladding, while staying far lighter, more durable and easier to look after.
How many boards are needed to cover 1 m² of wall?
At 165 mm wide, one board covers 0.165 m of wall width, so a one-metre width takes 6.1 boards — allow 7. To work out your quantity, divide the total wall width in cm by 16.5 and round up, then multiply by the number of walls to be clad.
Do Grid Board KM-35 boards need maintenance?
No. DECNO Grid Board KM-35 needs no particular upkeep — unlike solid timber, which needs regular oiling, staining and sanding. Soapy water is enough to keep the natural three-tone decor looking right over time.
