What is DECNO Round Board KX-08?
Round Board KX-08 is a DECNO interior PVC wall panelling with a 3D rounded profile, in a warm off-white with a smooth matt finish. Its half-round section plays light and shadow across the wall, bringing relief and depth that a flat surface cannot give.
How does Round Board differ from a flat wall panel?
A flat panel gives a continuous, smooth surface; Round Board gives relief. The half-round section catches light on the crest and loses it in the joint, which animates a wall that would otherwise read flat. One is a background, the other is a texture.
How are Round Board KX-08 boards fitted?
They fit quickly by bonding onto a clean, flat substrate, or on a rail. No specialist tooling is needed. Boards cut with a fine-tooth saw to fit around switches and sockets.
Is Round Board KX-08 suitable for wet rooms?
Yes, outside the direct spray zone of a shower or bath. PVC is unaffected by ambient humidity, and the rounded profile drains better than a square channel.
How many boards are needed to cover 1 m² of wall?
With a 150 mm effective width, allow about 6.7 linear metres per m², so roughly 2.4 boards of 2.80 m. We calculate the exact quantity from your dimensions.
Do the Round Board KX-08 boards need maintenance?
No. A damp microfibre cloth or soapy water is enough. The rounded profile holds less dust than a grooved one, since there is no deep channel for it to settle in.
