Concave Board KX-32 is a decorative PVC wall board from DECNO with a 3D concave profile in pure white. Fitted vertically and butt-jointed, the boards create a contemporary panelled effect with fine, elegant lines and a subtle play of shadow — made for a refined, minimalist accent wall.
What is the difference between Concave Board and Round Board?
Concave Board has a recessed section, which draws fine, clean lines for a subtler, more restrained result. Round Board has a raised section — a rounded convex profile — which gives a more pronounced, more sculptural effect. Concave Board is also slightly thinner, 12 mm against 15 mm, for an even lighter reading.
How are Concave Board KX-32 boards fitted?
Concave Board is fitted vertically on a clean, flat wall, board against board to create the panelled effect. It is bonded with PVC adhesive or fixed on a rail system. Boards can be cut to length with a fine-tooth saw.
Can Concave Board and Round Board be mixed on the same wall?
Yes, the two DECNO ranges can be combined to build original wall compositions with varied relief. Their slightly different widths — 147 mm against 150 mm — do need planning beforehand, so that the alignment across the wall comes out right.
How many boards are needed to cover 1 m² of wall?
At 147 mm wide, one board covers 0.147 m of wall width, so a one-metre width takes 6.8 boards — allow 7. To work out your quantity, divide the total wall width in cm by 14.7 and round up, then multiply by the number of walls to be clad.
Do Concave Board KX-32 boards need maintenance?
No. DECNO Concave Board KX-32 in PVC needs no particular upkeep. Wiping with soapy water is enough to remove dust and keep the bright pure white over time. No painting, no varnish, no treatment.
